Summary

A. KRYZHNA. ARTISTIC STRATEGIES OF THE CREATION OF THE AUTHOR’S MYTH ABOUT DON JUAN IN THE PLAYWRIGHTS OF HASINTO GRAU AND MIGUEL DE UNAMUNO
The article is devoted to the interpretation of the terminological field of the processes of "demythologization" and "remythologization" in the context of creatiоn these processes as the dominant strategies for creation the author's myth about Don Juan in the drama of H. Grau and M. de Unamuno, the leading Spanish writers of the early 20th century.
The question about of the artistic strategies of demythologization and remythologization in the drama of the leading Spanish writers H. Grau and M. de Unamuno at the beginning of the twentieth century, still remains unexplored, which makes an actual study of this theme. That's why the purpose of the article is to interpret the traditional Spanish myth of Don Juan in the drama of both authors. We consider the rethinking of the myth of Don Juan in the play of Hacinto Grau and analyze traditional Spanish interpretation of the myth of Don Juan in the work of Miguel de Unamuno, also we define the features that determine the process of demythologization or remythologization as prevailing in each of the plays and the discrepancies in creating the myth of Don Juan in the plays of both authors.
The autointerpretation of the myth about Spanish Tempter in the work of H. Grau reflects the implementation of the principle of demythologization, because in the play of Grau laid the idea of Don Juan, who had the gift of making women fall in love with him without doing it deliberately, and who didn't tempt them and didn't promise to marry each mistress (señoritas). In the existential idea of the play of M. de Unamuno dominates the principle of remythologization. Considering that Don Juan isn’t depicted there as a seducer, but as a "victim" of women's love, there is the central hero of the work, who isn’t able to separate his own "I" from the role that his name imposes on himself, he is always doomed to live under the legend of himself. These are strategies, which underlie the creation of the author's myth about Don Juan, distinguish the poles of interpretation of the traditional image of the Great Tempter. (At least 1800 printed characters)
